MIT Undergraduate Research Technology Conference

The IEEE MIT Undergraduate Research Technology Conference (URTC) is a three-day research conference held at the MIT campus (Sept. 30th to Oct. 2nd, 2022) that allows undergraduate students from all over the world to present, discuss, and develop solutions for advancing technology for humanity. We feature a variety of paper/poster presentations by our student presenters, talks and panels by industry leaders, and networking and social events. In addition, research papers from paper presenters are put into online publication in the form of conference proceedings archived in IEEE’s online database (IEEE Xplore). Students may present key findings from their school projects, independent or mentored research, innovations, or case studies.
Our conference is themed around the union of several key fields in applied/theoretical computer science, electrical engineering, and technology. Namely, this year's themes are based around:
- Biological and Biomedical Engineering
- Circuits, Materials, and Nanotechnologies
- Computer Systems, Theoretical Computer Science and Mathematics
- Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence
- Robotics and Controls
- Security and Communications
- Space Application and Technologies
- Innovation Research
Applications for paper presentations are due by July 31st, and applications for poster presentations and lightning talks are due by August 31st. For any questions, please contact us at [ieee-ucc-chairs@mit.edu].
