Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC)

The Institutional Biosafety Committee provides review and oversight of all University research and teaching activities that involve the use of biological agents such as recombinant DNA molecules, infectious and potentially infectious agents, human and non-human primate materials, and biological toxins.
If your proposed activity involves research with biohazards (rDNA, potentially infectious diseases, zoonotic agents, toxins, human and non-human primate materials), please contact the IBC Administrator at
