Fun Fact

I manage the coffee house in the Old Graduate College

Research Keywords statistical network biology
Research Pitch

I'm currently working with RNAseq data from ~7000 human samples across ~45 tissues obtained post-mortem. We're building and analyzing tissue-specific and tissue-differential gene and isoform networks for each tissue using bayesian biclustering.  I've been looking for statistically significant eGenes (genes associated with one or more cis or trans SNPs that affect expression levels) associated with eSNPs of their first degree neighbors in order to validate network edges.
